Nikhita is a popular Telugu actress.She had acted in ‘Chatrapathi’ where she was the heroine of Sarath Kumar, the actor who launched Nayantara in Tamil. Nikhita had switched to Tamil even before Nayantaras and Gopikas made their entry. But later she faded and was not to be seen. Nikhita however has decided not to give up so easily.
Nikitha, who played opposite Aryan Rajesh in ‘Hai’ produced by Dr D Ramanaidu and directed by EVV Satyanarayana on the banner of Suresh Productions, had later played opposite Nithin in ‘Sambaram’ directed by Dasarath.She played the female lead to Venu in ‘Kalyanaramudu’ and also in ‘Sarada Saradaagaa’. Very recently Nikhita played
heroine opposite Sivaji in ‘Nee Navve Chaalu’.
Nee Navve Chalu was a movie produced by Sridhar Choudary on the banner of Jaswant Arts. Sivaji, Sindhu Tulani and Nikhita were in the lead. Dubutant Mallikarju Yeluri was the director. This was a triangular love story.Now she is going to play heroine in a film to be directed by ‘Allari’ Ravibabu.
Ravibabu is directing a film titled ‘Anasuya’ on his own banner Flying Frogs, with Bhoomika playing the title role.After playing title roles like Missamma and Satyabhama, Bhumika Chawla is all set to do another female oriented film titled Anasuya. This film is directed by Ravi Babu (Allari fame). This film was launched today. Bhumika Chawla plays the role of a TV channel reporter. It is a thriller. Sekhar Chandra composes music. Abbas and Nikhita are playing other important roles. Paruchuri brothers provide screenplay. Ravi Babu also produces this film. Shooting of Anasuya will be completed by 10 August.Speaking on the occasion, Ravibabu says, ‘Our film ‘Anasuya’ was just on the rails today and started its journey from the station. The shooting would continue without any break till August 10 and we wrap up the shoot in a single schedule. Bhoomika is playing the role of a TV channel reporter. We are trying to portray the problems faced by her professionally, the people who come in contact with her, the kind of problems she confronts and how she came out of the cobweb would be moulded on the celluloid in an interesting way. It is a thrilling subject. The entire film would be shocking and there will be an effective drama. Abbas and Nikhita are playing key roles in the movie.The shooting of the film was launched on June 11 in Hyderabad.
